What should I wear?

It’s best if you can wear something that you can swim, bike & run in. Close fitting is best and ideally not cotton. Bike shorts (or similar) & sports bra that you can put a singlet/t-shirt over the top of to bike & run. Or a swimsuit with a sports bra underneath and then put shorts/shirt over to bike & run.

Can I use a pull buoy, kickboard or fins in the swim?

Yes, however we suggest you stay towards the back and allow faster swimmers to go ahead.

Will I need a road bike?

No, any bike will do

Do I need to run?

No, walking is fine. Run as much or as little as you are able to.

What if I can’t attend all the training sessions?

Unfortunately not everyone will be able to make every session but even if you miss a session you will still learn enough to help you get though the event. We can always give you some extra homework 🙂

What level of experience is required?

No experience is necessary. It’s all about having a go and finishing, any way you can. It’s not about 1st, 2nd or 3rd place. You can use a pull buoy or fins in the swim, any bike you like and walk during the run. It’s about fun, with a serious side of raising money for charity.
